Education and Administrative Fellows Program

Education

Professional development is an important part of the career journey. New staff and faculty and seasoned professionals alike seek opportunities to stay abreast of current and emerging trends, best practices, and develop new skills. The division collaborates with a variety of units on campus to provide opportunities for staff and faculty to participate in programs, seminars, workshops, and consultation.

Administrative Fellows Program

This unique experience offers staff from diverse functional areas an opportunity to develop leadership skills, expertise, and strategies that advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across our university. All initiatives that are implemented deepen our commitment as the state’s flagship, R1, land-grant university.

Eligibility includes being a full-time exempt staff members. A major portion of fellows’ responsibilities is centered around the advancement of access and engagement in academia as we seek to build and sustain an inclusive campus for all Vols. A demonstrated track-record is required. For more information on our administrative fellowship program, please contact Dr. Lamar Bryant (LamarB@utk.edu).
