Tasha Herrell brings a wealth of experience working with nonprofit organizations serving underrepresented populations, including 18 years with Project GRAD Knoxville as Administrative Assistant and directly with the founding Executive Director for 15 of those years. Project GRAD Knoxville, established in 2001, addresses barriers and provides opportunities for students and families at Austin- East and Fulton High Schools and their feeder elementary and middle schools. She has been with the University of Tennessee for 3 years as an assistant to the Dean of the College of Architecture and Design.
Tasha is a native Knoxvillian. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Tusculum College (Business Administration). She enjoys spending time with family, crafting, and volunteering on several boards and committees with her church and the ACE mentor program.
