In particular, Dr. Sublett argued that CTE programs must equip students with technical and <em>transferrable<\/em> stills, the latter of which refer to things like communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving and are less easy to automate with available technologies. Dr. Sublett also used Bureau of Labor Statistics data to illustrate that automation risks vary by CTE field of study, which may place some already disadvantaged student groups at disproportionate risk for automation.
