Lisa serves as the Coordinator for Equal Access & Opportunity within OED.  Her role is to ensure that faculty, staff, graduate student employees, and visitors are equipped to perform their roles and enjoy our campus without barriers. She also serves on the Commission for Disabilities.

 

Prior to joining OED Lisa worked at the University of Texas-Austin, Carson-Newman University and in Enrollment Management at UTK. She has also lived and worked abroad in Panama, Canada, Israel, and the U.K.  While in London, she co-founded Finding Common Ground, a non-profit organization committed to racial reconciliation and education.

 

Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and is pursuing her Master’s degree at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.  In her free time, Lisa enjoys traveling, visiting art museums, and spending time with her family
